Director Shaji Kailas once again highlights the vivid scenes and signs his own name. Shaji Kailas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, who hit the top collection chart this year with 'Kaduwa', will shock the audience again with Kapaa at the end of the year. Prepared with an emphasis on emotion, Kapha is like a slow-burning fire. Kappa's Backbone is a doubly powerful story.

Kappa can be described in one word as a clean and tidy action film. Shaji Kailas Kappa made a Mass Masala-Gangster film without touching any of the thakikoot recipes seen in Malayalam recently. The script is the backbone of the film, not the mass gimmicks. Opening with a melodic beat, Kappa has a decent first half and a thunderous second half. Shaji Kailas rewrites the usual cinematography in the last half hour by twisting the plot in a way the audience never expected.

Police enacted the 'Kerala Anti-Social Activities Prevention Act' or 'Kappa' Act to end gang violence in Kerala. Kappa also tells the story of the never-ending feud of quote gangs that once ran rampant in the city of Thiruvananthapuram. Kappa is the story of Kota Madhu who had to become a bid leader after he called a girl named Pramila and brought her into his life. A man who comes to Thiruvananthapuram after marrying the sister of a man who had to die at the hands of Kota Madhu is not exactly aware of his wife's past. The story begins with a young man realizing that his family has been imprisoned by the fictional Quotation Gang created by an evening journalist.

Asif Ali, Aparna Balamurali, Anna Benn, Dileesh Pothan and Minon provide strong supporting roles while Prithviraj fills the screen as Kota Madhu in dual roles, young and middle aged. There is a black spot on the forehead of Kota Madhu which can be seen on the forehead of every resident of Thiruvananthapuram who passes in front of the Pazhavangadi Ganapati Temple. Not the young Kota Madhu who went slashing and stabbing in jeans and a long-sleeved shirt, but the middle-aged Kota Madhu. One who opens the ledger of mistakes made and looks at additions and subtractions. Caring for family including wife and child. Kota Madhu tries and fails to rewrite her life behind a white shirt with double pockets and a black shirt. Prithviraj's sharp performance and hand in the action scenes complements Kotta Madhu. Kappa is a completely different figure in Jagadish's career.

2022 is the year that marked the growth of Asif Ali as an actor. Not the numbers of wins and losses. This is the year when Asif Ali proved that he is an actor who has matured to play big roles. Strong acting performances in films like Keut Vum Shiksha, Kooman and Koth. Asif Ali adds a touch of spice to these performances with Kappa, which was released at the end of the year.

GR is a writer who has carved his own niche in Malayalam literature. Indugopan. Indugopan has a rare storytelling style that keeps the reader on edge but without compromising on literary values. Shaji Kailas adapted Indu Gopan's short novel Shankhumukhi to the silver screen. Indu Gopan has also written the screenplay for the film.

Kappa's is not the Thiruvananthapuram dialect that is regularly stretched and twisted in films to make the audience laugh. The story is told in the vernacular spoken by the common people of Thiruvananthapuram. Indugopan Kappa adopted the storytelling method of interweaving muruki and matikatti as a folk tale. Cinematographer Jomon T. John, who has gifted Malaysians with beautiful scenes, gives excellent support to Shaji Kailas. Capp's narration is enhanced by endless background music.

The goodness behind the film Kappa has already been discussed. Many writers who in the past excited the people of Malaya are now penniless. FEFCA Writers’ Union Kappa, a group of filmmakers, has decided to make a living for those writers who hope to take their lives forward if they get at least five thousand rupees a month. OTT rights to the film are owned by Netflix.
